Based on Oscar the Turtle of Churubusco fame, this historical/hysterical comedy about the events of 1949 and one man’s obsession with lassoing a legend requires eight men, two women and one teenaged boy.
Come prepared to read from the script. All actors are also asked to prepare a 30-second humorous pantomime of some familiar activity (fixing a meal, putting on makeup, driving your car). Creativity and no props! This production will be very stylized, and we plan to tour it to Churubusco in June (dates not yet confirmed).
Rehearsals will begin March 14th and continue on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 10:00 pm. Tech week begins on April 25th at the downtown Allen County Public Library. One weekend of performances in Fort Wayne.
