beat the mid-winter blahs

all for One productions’ alternative theatre piece to beat the mid-winter blahs is the provocative and timely two-character drama, “I Have Before Me a Remarkable Document Given to Me By a Young Lady From Rwanda”, by Sonja Linden. This surprisingly funny meeting of two cultures introduces us to Juliette, a young Rwandan refugee living in London, and Simon, a middle-aged struggling novelist assigned to help her with her English writing skills. As he encourages her to write her personal story, and she resists, we are drawn into the reality of tragedy and triumph for all those who have lived in war-torn countries.  Rated PG-13 for subject matter.
